窦德泉，男，1962年9月生于黑龙江省双城市。教授，2003年作为引进人才到北京农学院工作。1985年毕业于哈尔滨师范大学生物系，获得理学学士学位；1996年1月—2003年7月，在日本香川大学和爱媛大学留学，获得硕士、博士学位及博士后研究工作。2022年10月退休。

研究领域和研究方向：

在日本留学和工作期间，对绿化树种的选择，栽培和管理进行了深入细致的研究。通过对多种绿化树苗的光合作用，蒸腾作用及水分代谢的研究，阐明了树种间抗干旱能力的差异，为选择适宜的绿化树种提供了直接的证据。归国后，主要从事《园林树木学》及《森林生态学》的教学与科研工作，研究的重点是北京地区适宜树种的选择和屋顶绿化，完成留学基金项目一项，曾主持北京市教委科研项目一项，参加北京市自然科学基金一项。
