Ma Xiaoyan, a female without political affiliation, holds the position of professor. She graduated from Tongji University in July 1989, majoring in Landscape Architecture. She serves as an executive director of the Education Working Committee of the Second China Landscape Architecture Society. She has been awarded titles such as the 14th Beijing Teaching Master, Beijing Outstanding Talent, Beijing Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teacher, and Beijing Greening and Beautification Activist. Currently, she holds the position of executive deputy director at the National Research Center for Ancient Tree Health and Ancient Tree Culture Engineering Technology; member of the Beijing Engineering and Technology Series (senior level) title evaluation committee; deputy editor of the Journal of Beijing Agricultural College; and executive director of the Third Session of the Beijing Association of Senior Intellectuals outside the Communist Party.

I am primarily engaged in teaching and research in landscape architecture. My main courses for undergraduate and graduate students include "Landscape Architecture Design," "Landscape Drawing," "Urban and Rural Planning," and "Urban Public Space." In recent years, I have been dedicated to research and practice in urban and rural landscape planning and design, combining it with the ecological environment construction and beautiful countryside development in Beijing, providing a basis for urban and rural ecological environment construction. I have published more than 50 papers, obtained 4 patents, and won 6 university-level teaching achievements. I have edited and co-edited 12 textbooks, and edited 2 textbooks for the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan." In recent years, I have guided students to win more than 20 industry competition awards, 1 national scholarship, 3 excellent master's theses, 2 excellent graduates, and 1 doctoral candidate.
